Where's the Rum Gone? *POTC SPOILERS*
May. 30th, 2007 05:33 pmI've been in town for a few days at the house that my family stays at when we come for a visit. It's nice to get out of the desert for a while, but the bad thing is that it doesn't have any internet (if I end up staying there, I might get my dad to let me get some kind of connection going). But today, I'm on a school field trip with my younger sisters and the hotel we're at has free high speed internet (!) So, while the Wild Bunch are all down playing in the pool, I'm using the quiet time to run a few updates.
The main reason I came into town was because the editing job I applied and interviewed for asked me to come back for a second interview. It was supposed to have been yesterday, but being the Tuesday after a holiday weekend, they didn't have everything quite ready for me. That would have been fine, except that I was just coming off the freeway exit when I got the phone call to not bother and can we reschedule? -_-' So, I turned around and headed back the forty-five minutes I had just traveled. The good news, though, was that I was done earlier than I had expected and could go out for some fun with the family.
My dad had the brilliant idea that since we didn't have anywhere to be, we could go see a movie and the vote was unanimous for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Sorry, Shrek 3, maybe later). As usual, I have a slew of commentary to provide.
Well, we're off to Cabela's (woot!), so I'll be back later (maybe). I'm still going to be in town for a few days, so who knows when I'll post again. Just know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth.
Love from,
Jenny Wildcat
