It's been a while since I did a meme, so I saw this on [livejournal.com profile] narniadear 's LJ where she did blue.  I commented and got red - which is my favorite color! (sorry it took me so long to put this together - I included extra pictures just for fun)

Comment if you want to do this meme, and I'll give you a colour that I think represents you, and then you list ten things you like in that colour or ten things it reminds you of! You don't need to include pictures.

Cut for Massive Pic Spammage )

Those are mine - if you'd like to do this, comment and I'll give you a color for you to do!
Oh... what the heck?  Might as well.  I may end up with another one, but I'm bored:

(snagged from [livejournal.com profile] rosevixen )

2010 in 40 Questions or Less )
Suddenly got incredibly giggly, so here's a meme.  No one tagged me - just thought it'd be fun to do (but [livejournal.com profile] narniadear  and [livejournal.com profile] litlover12  had it up, if you're curious).

Instructions:
1. write down every letter of your name.
2. then type a song that pops up in your mind in each letter of your name as the first letter.
count the letters of your name, and tag that many people.

C -
"Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas (Respect the classics, man!)
H - "Hey, Soul Sister" by Train
R - "Rocking Horse" by Sara Evans
I - "Imaginary" by Evanescence
S - "Starlight" by Muse
S -
"Some Fantastic" by Barenaked Ladies (this one... it helps that I was listening to it 20 minutes ago)
Y - "You Do the Math" by Brad Paisley

Tags... um, if you'd like to do this, go for it!

(Further proving that my tastes in music are wide and varied.  Just the way I like it ^_^)

Bed time!
[livejournal.com profile] narniadear  tagged me in a meme (sort of - it's hard to say no when someone says they "hope" you'd do something ^_^), so here it is.

SIX NAMES YOU GO BY:
1. Chrissy

THREE THINGS YOU ARE WEARING RIGHT NOW:
1. Pink ruffly tuxedo shirt
2. Blue jeans that are currently smell like cow manure (even on Sunday, farm work comes up. This time, the weenie dog was in the horse trailer that we hauled cows in yesterday and I had to rescue her.  Yes, that's what you all wanted to hear about.  eeeeeesh... )
3. Red Fossil watch I bought at the St. Augustine outlet mall for $40

THREE THINGS THAT MADE YOU SMILE TODAY:
1. My brother-in-law was ordained an elder!
2. Listening to InsideOut's version of "Once There Was a Snowman" (funny stuff ^_^)
3. Coming home, the desert was all green and pretty!
This one comes from [livejournal.com profile] litlover12 .  You ask for a letter of the alphabet, they give it to you and you have to come up with ten things that you like that start with that letter.  I got the letter "R"

1. Red: as in my favorite color.  It seems like nearly everything I own is red - my cell phone, my iPod, my 2GB flash drive, my car... the list goes on (I even have a red bookcase).  Red is the main color of the University of Utah and a few other teams I like (and a couple that I don't like, but that can't be helped).  Coincidentally, I'm a hardcore conservative and that has become associated with the color red (I'm just glad I didn't live in the 50s ^_^)

2. Right Wing: Speaking of hardcore conservatism - my dad says that Congress isn't as into politics as I am.  Well, admittedly, it's his fault - he got me into it (he also quips he's created a monster - hee hee)

3. Rush Limbaugh - Right wing political commentator, the father of modern conservative talk radio, the Most Dangerous and Troublesome Man in America, Harmless Little Fuzzball and All-Around Good Guy (I think I covered it all).

4. Ronald Reagan - (wow - I didn't realize there were so many "R" names/words associated with conservatism).  The Greatest President in All of Our Lifetimes and Beyond.  He was president when I was born, but I don't remember it - sad day :(

5. Reading: been doing it since I was three. (wow, something not associated with politics! ^_^)  The aforementioned red bookcase (plus another bookcase I have that isn't red) is full to overflowing with books I've read and even some I haven't quite got to yet.  I love to read!

6. 'Riting - (hey, it fits in the "reading, 'riting, 'rithmetic model - but I don't like math, so I won't be using that again).  If reading someone else's stories is fun, then 'riting your own is a blast.  I love to 'rite!  Whether it's fiction or just my own thoughts of the day, it's very therapeutic.

7. Roses - My favorite flower.  Call me uncreative, but nothing beats a nice vase of red roses (oh, and I also love "Sailor Moon," and Tuxedo Mask throws roses and he's one of my favorites, so there you go - I had to get that one in there somewhere ^_^)

8. Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band - Musical group based out of Utah.  Country/Bluegrass, but they're not what you think of when you think of bluegrass.  They are soooo much fun to see and I recommend going to one of their shows if you get the chance (they're best live).  Here's a video (and another one).

9. The Return of the King - Third installment of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy (books and movies).  Tolkien wins at life.  Just thought you'd like to know that.

10. Relief Society - The oldest (and largest - I think) organization for women and the women's organization for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Responsible for the gospel teaching and care of all women in the Church (it took me a while to think of a 10th item for this list, but luckily it's General Conference this weekend and I thought of this one).  Official website is here.

That was a bit of a challenge, but now I can't stop thinking of "R" things that I like.  Anyway, if you'd like to try it out, just comment and I'll give you a letter!
Thanks to litlover12 for giving me the Beyond Your Imagination Award!

Photobucket

I have to name eight stories or books that I would like to live in for two weeks and then I pick eight other bloggers to receive the award.  And, I'm taking a cue from litlover12 and including movies and TV shows as stories (I think it works ^_^)

(problem is, would I want to leave after the two weeks are up?)

1. List 8 stories or books that you would like to live in for two weeks:

1. Harry Potter (Gryffindor, baby! - and this is the book version)
2. The Lord of the Rings (in either Rohan or Gondor - I'm not much into elves, personally)
3. Heroes (what my power would be is yet to be determined)
4. Sailor Moon (who else do you know that can kick butt in a short skirt and heels and not look like a whore?  Sparkly pinkness is a bonus)
5. The Chronicles of Narnia (any of the books - I'm not too picky)
6. 24 (but only if I could be a tech-savvy CTU agent, a la Chloe O'Brian.  I wouldn't be to keen on Jack Bauer interrogating me)
7. Fushigi Yugi (the original or Genbu Kaiden - again, I'm not too picky on this one)
8. Beauty and the Beast (any version will do, not just Disney.  Seriously - this is my favorite fairy tale of all time!)

2. List 8 other bloggers who deserve this award

1. shellic
2. adjie_jo
3. elucreh
4. rosevixen
5. good_enoughh
6. narniadear
7. ginyoku
8. lynxgriffin
3. Comment on their blog and tell them they've won an award!
Holy geez!  This was fun... and it was scary.  I warn you - if you want to try this, don't do it before lunch (there are some Creepy McCreepsters that post images on the internet - who knew that listing "Wicked" as a an interest would generate... that... ew...  Luckily - it lets you change the pictures - I think I got it back on the G-rated scale).

Compliments of [livejournal.com profile] narniadear , I present my interests collage! (proving once again just how insanely eclectic I am - or just eclectically insane - and this still isn't everything!).

Interesting... )

I have to go to yearbook now!  Bye!
[livejournal.com profile] litlover12  had this posted on her LJ today and I thought it looked like an enjoyable endeavor (I realize I write "it looked fun" or some variation waaay too much).  I've never answered these questions about my LiveJournal before, but I would like to.

What is your LiveJournal username? How did you come up with it?

jenny_wildcat -  Jenny is the main character of the novel I've been writing since high school. When I was thinking of a username, I didn't want to use my real name and I didn't want to use something from any fandom because of the possibility that I would lose interest in that fandom, so I chose something I knew I would always like (seeing as how that was nearly five years ago, that worked out pretty well).  The "wildcat" part - there's a Garfield comic strip where Garfield says "The cat is not amused" in response to something stupid Jon does.  I quote that when I myself am not amused by someone's idiotic attempts at being funny.  I had a friend who started calling me "The Cat" because of that.  I added "Wild" because it flowed off the tongue better.

Have you renamed before? If so, what were your old names? If you haven't renamed, what names would you want to rename to?

No and I've never had any inclination to rename.

How much does your userinfo say about you?

Enough that anyone on LiveJournal would need to know.  This is my "keeping it anonymous" blog - I have a more public one for friends and family to read.

How long have you been on LiveJournal?

I joined on September 2005

What is the longest amount of time you've gone without posting?

I went on hiatus while on my 18 month mission for my church.  I did have someone posting things I emailed to them for those one my flist that were interested, so I don't know if that counts.

On average, how many entries do you post per day? (Divide how many total entries you have by how many days you've been on LJ.)

Okay, I joined LJ because I 'm a writer, not a mathematician.  And that is too many posts and too many days to count.  If anyone else wants to take that project on, you be my guest.

What are your posts normally about?

LIfe, sports, movies, TV, books, some politics - just whatever's on my mind that I care enough to post about.

Is your LiveJournal friends only? Why or why not?

No. If something is sensitive, I'll lock it.  But for the most part, it's general commentary.

Does your LiveJournal have an actual title or are you merely USER @ LiveJournal?

The Wildcat's Den

How long do you see yourself staying on LiveJournal?

As long as it stays in existence!

ABOUT YOUR FRIENDSLIST

How many people are on your friendslist, not counting private journals, media journals, etc?

12 (I'm not counting comms, but I keep up with my comms better).  Some of those don't post anymore, which is a shame.  I guess I should have more, but just don't go looking for people to add.

Why do you choose to add a person to your friendslist?

If they ask or if I know them in real life.

Is your friendslist an actual list of people you consider friends, or more of a reading list?

Depends on who it is.

How often do you read your friendslist?

At least once or twice a day.

Do you use filters when viewing your friendslist?

No.

How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal?

There are two or three that I know personally, but that's it.

Do you do friends cuts? Why or why not?

Never had reason to.

Do you regularly participate in friending memes? If not, how do you normally find people to friend?

Nope.  I don't actively search out people to friend, honestly.  If they ask, I'll usually do it, but I'm not a big friend-er myself (there - I said it.  I'm a bad LJer!)

How often do you add new friends to your friendslist?

I think I answered pretty well in the previous question

Do your friends have to have things in common with you?

Yes.

ABOUT YOUR ICONS / USERPICS

How many userpics do you get maximum? How many of those slots do you actually use?

15 - Currently, I have 13 of those filled, but that's because I'm trying to find one icon I deleted that I wish I hadn't.  I probably won't spring for more userpics because I'm too cheap to pay for something like that.

Do you mostly use icons made by yourself or by others?

I've made - like - one or two icons in my life.  Sometimes I wish I were better at graphics, but I'm not.  I have plenty I've stolen borrowed from others, though.

Do you have your own icon community? How often do you post in it?

No.

What fandoms are most frequently seen in your userpics?

Right now, I have 24, Disney, political, Sailor Moon and football.  And I'm trying to find a Heroes one just to round it out.  Oh, and there are a couple of Harry Potter ones, but I've been phasing them out lately (but these quotes are just too good to let go of).  My tastes are wide and varied and it'd be tough to have enough icon spaces for everything I like.

How do you find icons to use?

I've collected icons through my dealings on LJ.  I watch a few icon making comms.  If there's something I'm looking for, I'll do a search.

How often do you upload new icons to use in your userpics?

Whenever I feel like the old ones are too... well... old.

Which of your userpics do you use the most?

Since I recently revamped my userpics, I guess I use my current Chloe default one the most.  But Ann Coulter and the Blogger Chick make regular appearances, as does the GryffClaw quote.

Which of your userpics do you like the most?

I like them all for different reasons.

The old minimum number of userpics was three. Could you see yourself "surviving" on three userpics now?

If I didn't know what it was like to have more, I'd probably just deal with it (but I'm even jealous of people with 20-30-40 pics - not jealous enough to open up my wallet, mind you)

What do your userpics say about you?

They're a hearty sampling of things I enjoy with just enough snark to make it worth it.
Christmas is barely over, which means it's time for... NEW YEAR'S!!

And since I'd rather not have to riffle through my LJ posts for a traditional "Entertainment Tonight"-type Year in Review, this fancy little meme that's been floating around will work just fine.

Last update for a little while.  Pending my parents' plans being finalized (which won't be until five minutes before we leave), I will be out of internet range (my Lappy doesn't get to go 'cause Mom's got all kind of Christmas goodies to pack in.  Happy for Christmas!  Sad for no Lappy T_T).  But there shall be all kind of happy high school basketball action - Delta's ranked first in the 3A!! (click the link, scroll down a skoash). That's what happens when the BIG 5A 2960-students MONSTER Bingham High only beats you by 6 (instead of 40, as was predicted).  Not bad for a little-bitty 469-students school out in the sticks.

I'm pleased to say that Bingham's fans were impressed by us last Saturday.  My sister was in the bathroom after the game and overheard some of Bingham's moms marvel at how tall our guys are (we've got one 6'8" center and my brother's 6'5" and all our guards are 6'0" and thereabouts) and also how good our guys were.  I'm really proud of them.  The best part about Delta sports is that we know how little we are (numbers-wise, we should be in the 2A - the cut-off between 2A and 3A is 500 students), but we still show up to compete against the bigger schools.  I mean, Bingham could send in a fresh and rested 5-man troop every quarter, but Delta's guys had to play pretty much the whole game (we did have some subs go in, but not at the frequency of Bingham's).  Personally, I'm counting the "loss" against Bingham as a win because our guys played their guts out.

So now, they've got a big three-game road trip starting tomorrow, which is where we're all going (Delta's fans may be few, but we're dedicated - I swear the whole town travels to all the away games.  Okay, it's really just the families of the players, but it's fun).

In other fun (for those on my f-list who aren't sports-oriented), here's a meme I snagged from [profile] rosevixen.  Enjoy!
5 Favorite Things Meme

(warning, my tastes are wide and varied.  Reading this meme may cause the following symptoms: uncontrolled eye twitch, head spinning, hives, low resale value on your home, and a tendency to go "WTF?!!!" at random times in the ensuing months)

(If you get my subject line +bazillion points for you ^_^)

Having already blogged about the "Dumbledore Outed!" story, here's something a little more lighthearted and fun:

Iconses! )
Got this meme from [profile] rosevixen  - she chose six of my interests and I will describe them (this is fun! If you want to try, comment me and I'll pick six for you to do).

WARNING: My tastes in everything are wide and varied.  Potential for an overdose of randomness.  May cause dizziness, low blood pressure and a tendency to go OMGWTFBBQ??!!!  Proceed with caution.

1.) Alice 19th: Manga by Yu Watase (the genius behind Fushigi Yugi).  It's about a girl named Alice who becomes a Master of the Lotis words.  Alice wishes that her sister, Mayura, would disappear.  Since Alice is a Lotis Master and has power over words, Mayura disappears and is taken over by the Maram Masters (the villains of the story).  Fantastic shojo manga (complete with Watase's beautiful art and drool-worthy bishounen ^_^)

2.) Chaucer: Geoffrey Chaucer, the writer.  Wrote "The Canterbury Tales," which I took a class on in college (LOVE!!!)  Also, brilliantly played by Paul Bettany in "A Knight's Tale" (which is not really based on the canon "The Knight's Tale" in the CT).  If Shakespeare wasn't Shakespeare, he'd be Chaucer ^_^

3.) Jerry the Frog Productions: A website once run by the ever hilarious and talented [personal profile] lynxgriffin .  Home of the Hand Puppet Movie Theatre, which is rife with movie parodies of all my favorites: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.  Bad news, though.  It's been taken down, simply because the webmistress didn't have time to maintain it along with all her other projects.  Alas, the internet has lost a bright jewel in multiple fandoms.
Despair not, for LG exists on LJ and she has her own online manga Lunargyros about a girl who turns into a werewolf.  It's a great story, but the website requires a paid subscription to see any archives (the current page as well as the first fifteen or so are free, though).

4.) John Deere tractors: "She thinks my tractor's sexy..." okay, I'll stop.  Big green and yellow tractors out on the farm, plowing up the ground, planting crops and harvesting (and they have those nifty riding lawnmowers for those who have their nice 1-acre lots in the Daybreak development) and as cool as all get out (even without Ashton Kutcher's help).
My dad has about four or five of them - maybe more (one that he bought in high school - still in great running condition - and an couple antique tractors that came with a ranch that we owned a few years ago).  Seen as a novelty in suburban home decor (at least, in the Western United State), but the real things are really the Ford trucks of the agricultural machinery world.
See also - childhood memories, spending quality time with Dad, working on the farm in the summer, cool for sentimental as well as practical reasons because my little JD desk calendar says so

5.) PotterCast: Weekly podcast put out by The Leaky Cauldron, the best Harry Potter fansite that exists on the internet today.  Hosted by Melissa "John is driving me nuts" Anelli, Sue "HufflepuffSQUEE!" Upton and resident lovable goob, John "Dawlish" Noe.  Features all kinds of fan discussion, events, interviews with the higher-ups in Potterdom (anyone from HP continuity editor Cheryl Klein and big cheese editor Arthur Levine to movie director Chris Columbus, production designer Stuart Craig and Ron Weasley aka Rupert Grint).  Also features general tomfoolery and geekdom and a good hearty laugh

6.) Tokyo Mew Mew: Sugary sweet "Magical Girl" manga and anime.  Five girls are infused with the DNA of endangered animals to fight against aliens trying to take over the world (in the grand Magical Girl anime/manga tradition ^_^).  Everything in this series -  fluffy cat ears and frilly pastel costumes and the heroes' home base (Cafe Mew Mew) and even the names - will give you a toothache, but it tastes good (I can't even have a pudding cup without saying "Pudding-chan no da!" in my best impression of a high pitched Japanese shojo heroine - which probably is an insult to the Japanese people now that I think about it).

I was probably longer-winded than was really necessary, but it was fun anyway ^_^
I really need to watch more movies:

Your Score: Katharine Hepburn

You scored 21% grit, 23% wit, 47% flair, and 14% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

And just for some fun:

Your Score: Humphrey Bogart

You scored 59% Tough, 0% Roguish, 33% Friendly, and 9% Charming!

You're the original man of honor, rough and tough but willing to stick your neck out when you need to, despite what you might say to the contrary. You're a complex character full of spit and vinegar, but with a soft heart and a tender streak that you try to hide. There's usually a complicated dame in the picture, someone who sees the real you behind all the tough talk and can dish it out as well as you can. You're not easy to get next to, but when you find the right partner, you're caring and loyal to a fault. A big fault. But you take it on the chin and move on, nursing your pain inside and maintaining your armor...until the next dame walks in. Or possibly the same dame, and of all the gin joints in all the world, it had to be yours. Co-stars include Ingrid Bergman and Lauren Bacall, hot chicks with problems.

This is supposedly because of the use of "Whore" (x3), "Dead" (x2) and "Death" (x1). Sorry, but I've heard and seen worse in PG-13. I'd like to see the scale that this thing uses... (okay kiddies, death happens in the world.  Sorry to burst your bubble.  I think that might be from my recent "Deathly Hallows" theory post.  Eh, I'm not too worried about it.  Mom and Dad are on their way in to take me and my sister (and the rest of the fam) to dinner at the Training Table.  It's a celebration of my parents' first date over 4th of July weekend and that's where they went (to the very Training Table that's down the street from where my sister and I live, no doubt).
Well, [profile] shellic needs to get herself a userpic.  At least one. :3

Yeah... so... don't piss me off.   Blood letting will follow from my bling-bling crowbar (I know studded means pokey-nail-type studs, but for some reason, I thought of studded with diamonds.  Don't ask 'cause I don't know).

Snagged this shipping meme from [profile] rosevixen.  I have more ships that I like than I actually had spots for, but almost not enough for ships that I dislike or even that I've only considered.

Six Ships You Like:
1) Harry/Ginny (Harry Potter)
2) Ron/Hermione (Harry Potter)
3) InuYasha/Kagome (InuYasha)
4) Jack/Audrey (24)
5) Kenshin/Kaoru (Rurouni Kenshin)
6) Peter/Mary Jane (Spider-Man)

Three ships you used to like but don't anymore:
7) Jack/Kate (24)
8) Eragon/Arya (Eragon)
9) Neville/Luna (Harry Potter)

Three ships you don't like:
10) Grissom/Sara (CSI)
11) Jack/Chloe (24)
12) Sirius/Lupin (Harry Potter)

Two ships you are curious about but haven't actually started shipping:
13) Dobby/Winky (Harry Potter)
14) Mad Hatter/Alice (Alice in Wonderland)

1) Why do you dislike #11 (Jack/Chloe) so much?

Why can’t two people just be close friends and not have all these sexual undertones? (this is also my argument against some slash).  Neither character has shown the slightest interest in the other beyond being close friends.  Sheesh, anyone that any character even acknowledges the existence of is NOT dying to get in bed with them, thankyouverymuch.

2) Who is someone you know that ships #13 (Dobby/Winky)?
I dunno… a lot of people, I guess.  No one specific.

3) What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3 (InuYasha/Kagome) (even if the show isn't on the air anymore)?
Oh, but the manga continues (up to chapter 500, last I checked)
Kagome decides to stay with InuYasha in the Feudal Era, gets married and has lots of little 1/4 demon pups (what would they be called by then?) with the occasional visits to Kagome’s family in the modern era through the well. (thank you and good night)

4) Which is your favorite episode for #1 (Harry/Ginny)? Try to pick just one.
I’m sure this will be trumped by the heartfelt reunion in “Deathly Hallows” when Harry comes to his hero-complexed senses and lets Ginny fight alongside him, but right now, it’s the “OMG-Harry-we-WON!-*smooch*-take-a-walk-around-the-lake-and-maybe-discuss-the-match-but-most-likely-not” scene in Half-Blood Prince at the end of the “Sectumsempra” chapter.  But the end of Chamber of Secrets is a pretty close second :)

5) How long have you been following couple #6 (Peter/Mary Jane)?
Since I saw the first “Spider-Man” movie and wanted to kick Peter in the head for pulling a endofbooksix!Harry with Mary Jane. Good thing they got it together in the second movie, right?

6) What's the story with #8 (Eragon/Arya)? What made you stop liking them/caring?
Eragon’s getting on my nerves.  I thought it would be cute to have them together, but he’s being so darn obvious about it and I think Arya would be better served to run off with Roran instead (we all know Katrina’s a goner).  Much less whiny and less godlike.

7) Which ship do you prefer - #2 (Ron/Hermione) or #4 (Jack/Audrey)?
Aaaack! Which one’s my favorite?  How to pick?!  I guess I’ll go with Jack/Audrey because Jack has more to lose with Audrey right now.  Ron/Hermione is a given at this point and all we’re waiting for is for them to pull it together after Voldemort gets his butt handed to him.  Jack/Audrey’s a little more exciting.

8) You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 (Grissom/Sara) or #12 (Jack/Chloe).
I’d go with Grissom/Sara because they’re canon at this point (darn it).  That just freaked.  Me. Out.  I always thought Sara thought of Grissom as a father-figure, not… well, you know.  They may have jumped the shark and it’s only a matter of time before CSI gets canceled (sad, but true.  I always thought that it would be Grissom/Catherine).  The Jack/Chloe ship holds about as much water as book!Harry/Hermione (movie!H/Hr is another story – just saw the international trailer and the delusions just won’t stop!  Emma, honey, you're supposed to be with the redhead).

9) What interests you about #14 (Mad Hatter/Alice)?
I’ve seen it around the ‘net and it seems intriguing.  I’ve never thought of shipping those two, but it makes sense in some kooky way.

10) When did you stop liking #7 (Jack/Kate)?
I probably only liked this one during season 2.  Before the first episode of season 3 was even over, I knew it would never work.  That ship quietly exited out of “24” canondom, which is good news for Kate, at least.

11) Did your waning interest in #9 (Neville/Luna) kill your interest in the show?
No, it was a minor thing, not a rabid Harry/Hermione debacle.  I was just trying to find a suitable person to pair Neville with and since we know Ginny is going with the hero, Luna was a convenient plug.  I really don’t care.

12) What's a song that reminds you of #5 (Kenshin/Kaoru)?
… I can’t think of one…

13) Which of these ships do you love the most?
I have to pick two: Harry/Ginny and Jack/Audrey, mostly because these two are the most in limbo right now (as far as I know, anyway).

(Where the hell did 14 go?)

15) If you could have any two of these pairings double date, who would it be? (even better if they're from different shows)
InuYasha/Kagome and Ron/Hermione would be vastly amusing.  Between the “Osuwari!” showdowns and the Mrs. Weasley-like glares at both the boys' failed sense of What Women Want, I don’t think they’d have time to do anything else ^_^ (that is a fanfic waiting to be written, if someone with better fanfic sense than I would like to tackle it)

16) Have #2 (Ron/Hermione) kissed yet? Elaborate if you'd like.
Not yet, but they’d better!

17) Did #4 (Jack/Audrey) have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely?
A happy ending is very likely, since everyone’s expecting a terrible ending to this season (like nearly every season – season 2 and possibly season 3 excepted), and Jack’s determined to jihad himself for Audrey, what better way to surprise the fandom than by letting Audrey live and have both of them ride off into the sunset waiting for the next round of messiness in season 7?

18) What would make you start shipping #13 (Dobby/Winky)?
A sober Winky.  Nothing is possible between those two until Winky gets coherent enough to realize Dobby’s been taking care of her.  I’m pretty sure she still thinks she’s in the backyard talking to Elvis.

19) If only one could happen, which would you prefer - #2 (Ron/Hermione) or #6 (Peter/Mary Jane)?
I’ve been on the R/Hr ship longer (though not as long as the other HP ship – has something to do with how I envisioned the ending of Chamber of Secrets), I’m going with them.  I have a greater interest in their destinies anyway.  Peter/MJ… they got married a long time ago in the comic strip.  I know where this is going to go.

20) You have the power to decide the fate of #10 (Grissom/Sara). What happens to them?
Sara wakes up one morning and says “What was I thinking?” and starts dating Greg.  Grissom wakes up one morning and says “What in the hell was I thinking?” and starts dating Catherine.  Nick wakes up one morning on my doorstep. ^_^

PS, Feel free to take this meme and use it for yourself.  It's quite entertaining.
PPS, Please leave all phone numbers of smokin' hot CSI's from Texas but working in Vegas in the comments
This may be kinda hard, but it looked fun.  I stole got this from [profile] rosevixen, so just answer to the best of your knowledge:

1. Who do you know me as? (i.e. what's the nickname you call me?)
2. My favorite animal?
3. My favorite color?
4. What's the name of my beloved cousin? (I don't know that I have a "beloved" cousin...)
5. My favorite OTP? (Any fandom you know me from.)
6. What do I normally rant about?
7. What part of my family do you want to be?

Come one! Come all! (that was dumb)

...Which she initially stole from Makani, so it's all good.  Besides, I'm in a funk after "24" and the nuclear bomb going off and Jack having to kill off vdhtruisdisjenwemgjw... *attack of the spoiler-nazi-gnomes*  I need something to cheer me up.

Okay, okay, the Meme (which, what does that even mean? Someone enlighten me here)

1. Are you going to look at every possible spoiler you can before the book comes out? Did you with HBP and how accurate were the ones you saw?

Hell no! There probably won't be any spoilers to be had before the book actually comes out anyway (other than pure speculation passing off as spoilers... get a life people) as Jo and her people put a tight lid on everything.  I had none with HBP, so my reaction was pure depression (at Dumbledore's death) and pure hatred (at Snape's betrayal - I still maintain that he is evil to the nth degree, or at the very least, not on Harry's side.  He killed Dumbledore, for the love of Godric Gryffindor! The only redemption available to him is if he steps in front of an AK curse meant for Harry).

2. What will you do if Amazon (or whoever;) don’t deliver your copy on time, and everyone is reading it except you?
I do midnight release parties and preordering at whatever store I'm going to .  I WILL have that book! I will also avoid any HP-related internet browsing until I've finished (sorry, Leaky)

3. Will you read the last chapter before anything else? Are you planning to read the book all in one go or are you a slow reader?
I will get my copy at midnight and - depending on length and other factors - will finish in 24 hours.  The last chapter will be as if under lock and key until I get there in due order (but no one said anything about not reading chapter headings ^_^)

4. What’s your theory on the meaning of “Deathly Hallows?”

I like the idea that they're the Horcruxes and refer to objects connected with Arthurian lore.  Though, the way the past few titles have been actually connected with the story, they could very well bethe codename of Aberforth's secret goatherd.

 5. What’s the craziest Harry Potter theory you’ve got, which you could only share with your trusted f-list?
lemme think on this one...  I don't really have any that are real "crazy"... I guess that the Death Eaters will attack at Bill and Fleur's wedding in book 7 (that's not that crazy at all... I need to quit doing responsible things and hang out on Leaky Lounge more ^_^)

6. If you could write in a sub-plot of your own choosing to the main Harry one, what would it be?

Remus creates a Ministry department that helps werewolves get their lives back together and become part of regular Wizarding society (and whacks Umbridge on the way up ^_^)

7. Who do you think will die in the book, and who would you be most upset to see die, even if you don’t think it’s likely?

Aside from Voldy, Snape is a goner.  He has to be if there are supposedly all these clues that he is truly on the side of good.  He will die either defending Harry or Harry will take him out.

Most upset to see go, even if unlikely: Ginny definitely.  I don't think it will happen, but if it does, I will cry (having been a Harry/Ginny shipper even before I was a Ron/Hermione shipper. Has something to do with the way I pictured the end of CoS)

8. Name three main (ish) characters who you think will definitely live and why. Is there a very minor character(s) you really want to have a happy ending?

Harry: Bad stuff happens on the 6:00 news, not in beloved fantasy books.  He may make a Frodo-like exit after he and Ginny have led a full and happy life with children and grandchildren (how Frodo is possible in HP...), but it won't be an out and out death

Neville: It's those magic gum wrappers!  But seriously, Neville will continue on after soundly defeating Bellatrix.

Hagrid: I'm sure Jo's had too much fun dangling Hagrid to let him die now (two books of people predicting his death and it hasn't happened... it won't)

 ......

Dawlish: If he were taken out, there would be much sadness and mourning in Potter Land (and you don't get any more minor than Daaaaawwwlish... he'll find happiness with Mrs. Figg in Magnolia Crescent: Dawlish and the House Full of Kitties!)

9. If you don’t like the book, or are bitterly disappointed by it, do you think you’ll still stay in the fandom?

Not. Gunna. Happen. (be disappointed, I mean) Who do you think you're talking to, the Harmonians?  It's a book people.  This fandom's too much fun to desert

10. One word (or concise) answers only!

- Snape: good, evil, own agenda?

Evil.

- Bill: will he help Remus or just be on permanent honeymoon?

How do you get "One Big Happy Weasley Family" if the whole family isn't there to enjoy it?

- Peter: a Gryffindor moment or not?

Defintely

- Harry: is he a Horcrux?

Lame!!!!

- The Weasley’s: will they all survive?

See:"Bill"

- If no to the above: who won’t?

See above

- Did Snape love Lily: yay or nay!

Ewwwwwwwwww...

- Hogwarts: will they go back to school or not?

Maybe not to school, but Jo did say that one of the Horcruxes is in the Great Hall (she had a dream about it)

- Remus and Tonks: will they get married in the book?

Epilogue

- Bellatrix: who will be her nemesis?

Starts wil an "N" and rhymes with "eville"

- The new leader of the OotP is …?

Moody and/or Lupin (neither of whom trust Snape, so Snape can't be working for the Order)

- Percy: will he see the error of his ways or not?

Maybe toward the end of the book

11. If Harry could take just one adult Order of the Phoenix member with him on the search for Horcruxes, who should it be and why?

He won't take an adult member, but he might meet up with Aberforth along the way, simply because that's where the clues will lead him.

12. Will Remus and Greyback have a confrontation in human or werewolf form? Will Tonks be involved? Who will the other werewolves support?
This will probably happen off scene, but Greyback will realize that Remus is working underground with the werewolves.  Greyback will capture Tonks and there will be a big ...erm... biteout (as opposed to shootout).  I've always been a sucker for damsel-in-distress type stories (Tonks will get free at the end and help Remus, though)

 13. Who is the person from Harry’s class (and it isn’t him, Ron or Hermione), who will become a Hogwart’s teacher? What subject will they teach?

Parvati or Lavender for Divination (Voldy's going to find out about Trelawney and she may be on the chop over that little prophecy thing)

14. Do you think Harry will observe Remus looking less lined and walking with a little more of a spring in his step? If so, do you think he'll attribute it to Tonks, and if he does, will he blush?

*giggle* most certainly!

15. Will Ginny use, "But Professor Lupin saw the futility of being a noble prat!" for one of her million arguments with Harry about why they should be together? Do you think they’ll get back together at all?

Sigh... yes Mary Jane and Peter...I mean Ginny and Harry get back together in the end.  She might even use that corny "Who's going to save you?" line (hey, whatever works, you know?)  Boys-with-hero-complexes, a little lesson: when the girl of your dreams is in danger, yet capable of taking care of herself, you'd best let her come along because you know she will anyway.  Besides, it's less for you to worry about.

16. Which house do you think Tonks is in, and why? Is she going to morph into someone important and who will it be?

Tonks is... GRYFFINDOR!! Sorry, but I don't see many Hufflepuffs joining the Order (at least, not any of the adult Hufflepuffs; students in the DA are another story).  And why would she morph into someone important? She can't change her appearance that much, can she?

17. Who will be revealed to be the heir of Gryffindor?

Why must there be an heir of every house?  Maybe a descendant or two, but not an appointed heir ("it's not what someone is born, but what they grow to be" ring a bell?)

18. As JKR has promised the final chapter will be like an epilogue; how do you think the final paragraph (hopefully) donated to Remus’ future, and/or Tonks’, and/or anyone else you want to write a paragraph on, will read?

Um, people, it's canon by now: Remus/Tonks is going to ride off into the sunset with their little pink wolf-cubs in tow.  Next question

19. Which question from the books would it annoy you most not to have answered?

Maybe not annoy me, but it would be fun to know about the Four Founders.  But I wouldn't mind leaving some of that to my imagination.

20. What do you think the last line of the book is?

Well, it ends the book and it ends with "scar"  Beyond that, I don't have an answer for you.
