Sad news from PotterCast land via episode #62: the wonderful and hilarious John Noe is sick this week.  Too sick, it turns out, to record for PotterCast.  Now, this is serious, since the only reasons John has missed recording is for his birthday and ... nope, he even recorded during his family's Memorial Day BBQ/Reunion-type thing.  Since no John Noe makes for some pretty sad pandas, I have decided (at the behest of Melissa and Sue -- well, I would have done it anyway) to blog John's ickiness away!

So John, you're sick this week.  I've heard that it's very effective to put yourself in a mental position to get better.  It's time to think of all the wonderful things that you can do when you're not sick and thinking about that will make you better.

Number one (or should that be numero uno?) is the fabulous Chipotle burrito (and I've probably spelled it wrong and I hope that my good intentions will make up for that).  I've personally heard good things about them, but they can't be very good when you're sick in bed.  So, it follows logically that the best way to get better is to imagine yourself enjoying a wonderful Chipotle burrito filled with all your favorite things! ("raindrops on roses...")

Number two: DAAAAAAWWWWLISH!! Try saying that with a sore throat.  I know I've missed hearing it.

Number three: CANON CONUNDRUMS! (see number two)

Number four: My roommate's incessant boyfriend soap opera drama is driving me crazy and the only way I can cope is when the PotterCast Trio is whole and together and a vital component is Mr. John Noe.

Number five: The MuggleCast boys just aren't cutting it as a John Noe substitute.  Plus, it's your reputation on the line, John. Honestly, are you going to let Ben Schoen's stupid jokes take over yours in terms of popularity?  That's just wrong.

Number six: Horcri may have been debunked, but I still like it when you say it and Melissa makes the kitchen explode (see the PotterCast episode after the jkrowling.com post ended that run).

Number seven: Melissa and Sue may have played you plugging Borders and Borders may be my favorite store, but I would hate to have my predominant impression of John being an endorsement puppet.

Number eight: What if the title and/or release date for book seven was announced and you weren't there to enjoy it?!  I rest my case.

That being said, would all the PotterCast fandom join me in saying a huge, big, Dawlish-sized:

GET WELL SOON, JOHN NOE!!

Much love and good feelings from,
Jenny Wildcat

PS, What is Dawlish-sized anyway?  Do I really want to know?
