As of yesterday at 3:45 pm, my mission papers were turned in to the stake president, who sent them off to Salt Lake City last night.  And in about two weeks (give or take a day or two for mail routes and such), I will have my mission call!

So, this is everyone's chance - Where am going to be serving my mission?  Stateside?  Foreign?  Will I be learning a new language?  Maybe I'll meet up with someone famous or I could meet up with your relatives.  Take a guess.  If you guess right... you will have the great honor of knowing you guessed where I'm going.  Also, don't forget to say why you think I'm going there, because I'll be curious.  It could be as simple as "That's just what I thought of" or something more complex.

As they say in Vegas: Place your bets, people (not with any actual money, of course ^_^)

You are going on a foreign mission because you got to experience something other than the US. I do too, but I'm not going on a mission. Let's see . . . what if you go to Russia or somewhere in eastern Europe. That would be cool, or France ^_^.

Watch, now that I say that, you'll be called to Ohio or something. I have a cousin that just got back from a mission there. Awesome mission. It really doesn't matter where you go, it's exciting all the same (easy for me to say, right?)

For a bit of advice, don't expect to go to a certain place or area, because if your not called there, you'll probably be disapointed and your area will have to grow on you instead of liking it from the start. It makes your work a little more difficult. I obviously don't have mcuh experience in this, but I know people who have and it's common sense really. Just be careful.

For the record, I don't really care where I go. I have no clue where I'm going to end up and I really don't have my heart set on going anywhere specific. I figure wherever I'm called is where I'm supposed to be and I'm going to love it no matter where it is. I've had so many people ask me where I want to go and my answer is "Wherever the Lord sends me."

But, admit it, it's fun to guess and discuss with people. I'd imagine it's kind of the same with expecting a baby and you don't know whether it's a boy or a girl until the big day comes. It's like Christmas (which, it looks like I'll get a little early this year ^_^)

And just so you know, my brother also thinks I'm going to France or at least somewhere in Europe. I should keep a running tally of this, probably ^_^

Smart girl! Yes, guessing is always fun.

Speaking of babys, my friend is pregnant. She and her husband refuse to know the baby's sex till it's born. Crazyness I tell you! I'd want to know as soon as I could.

Just for kicks, I'll say foreign, but somewhere that speaks English. Which is parts of everywhere, but whatever. xD As to exactly where, I don't know. But I think somewhere that you can truly help people. You seem like you could do that. :]

*is touched* :] Thanks!

I actually did have a friend go to New Zealand, which is a foreign mission but he still spoke English. That would be pretty cool.

Wait! What if you go to, like, the Philippines?

I could go to the Philippines. That's a definite possibility.

Just a out of curiosity - who is this?
