Just a quick post to let everyone know what's going on:

THE LAPPY'S COMING HOME!!!  I just got a call from the computer service guys and they said that she's home and as good as new.  They replaced the battery and revamped the system and whatever little doo-hickeys they worked on are fine (I'm not technologically inclined), so I'm going to go get the ol' girl on the way home from work.

Speaking of work, they've got me getting busier.  I've been trained on a few more processes, so I'm not just sitting around doing nothing all day.  I do still get to listen to the radio online.

Some things have been happening in the world at large that have prompted me to write a rather lengthy and passionate post about something  that I'm very much in the minority about.  I have it saved on the LJ under the Private filter so I'm the only one that can read it.  I really want to put it on the Public filter, but I'm a little scared.  I have very passionate opinions about certain things, but experience has taught me to keep those opinions to myself because someone else often comes along and kicks me back to the ground about it.  I know there are others that share my views, but they're hard to come across sometimes, so I feel a little like I've been fed to the wolves.  I need to get over it and just stick by my convictions.  This post might be the beginning of a great confidence-builder.  Or it just might make me want to crawl into a hole.  Either way, something's going to happen.

Love from,
Jenny Wildcat

If I can handle my husband coming out as a transgender - I think I can handle anything you throw at me.

Also 'cause you're my friend, and I like supporting my friends in their decisions/opinions/and what not. Even if I don't agree (like my sister-in-law and her homosexuality. I may not like it but I like her and her girlfriend).

You know, I do appreciate that. I think that we can all agree to disagree, but it's difficult when others don't feel the same way. I don't try to offend people, but that does happen and it get taken personally sometimes. I don't want to take away a person's right to disagree with me, but I expect the same respect from the person I disagree with.

Is it something political? ::winces:: Because then I probably wouldn't agree. But when has that ever hindered our friendship? If it is political, then I'm expecting to strongly disagree, but I'm curious all the same. I like to see what other people think on certain subjects. It either confuses me to no end or helps me understand something better. I'm ok either way since I'm already crazy ^_^.

Well, you have to be crazy to follow politics and current events. ^_^

It is a testament to a friendship when two friends with opposing viewpoints can be as good of friends as we are. I think I'm going to post the entry, actually.

The trouble is, I don't follow current events as much as I should. BLA! Honestly, I don't know a thing going on. I pick up The New York Times occationally, but that's all.
