The Weekend Wildcat Did Nothing

Just what it says. I slept in until noon yesterday (well, actually 11:30), made sausages and scrambled eggs, waited until I had the apartment all to myself (sorry,
shellic, you know I love you ^_^), and camped out on the couch watching "Cars" and "Back to the Future II" and all the fun little special features that came with the DVDs. I had an excuse: I didn't get back until 1:30 am after the Girls' Choice Dance on Friday night (no, I am not a night owl. Why do you ask?)
I wish that I could have gone home this weekend, though. Delta had their home playoff game against Ogden, though I kinda wish it had been in Ogden so I could have gone to it easier (then again, it just had to be the same night as the dance, so never mind). Delta won, which means they get to go to State next week (yay!) all the way in St. George (boo!) I would just give school the middle finger this week and trek down there, except that I have a rough draft due in my Creative Non-Fiction class and that I don't fancy driving down from Logan to St. George all by my lonesome on the dreadedfreeway of DEATH I-15 (it's not so bad when you get past Spanish Fork. The problem is actually getting there in one piece -- I swear, people lose all ability and sense when they enter the Wasatch Front area of I-15. You could be Grampa-Driver's-Ed, but you get south of Ogden and north of Provo, your driving abilities turn to mush).
So, yep. Not much else to report, though I was surprised that
shellic didn't know that Michael J. Fox played Marty's daughter in "Back to the Future II" Remember when Jennifer gets stuck in hers and Marty's future home in the 2015 sequence? Remember that really ugly interesting-looking girl that came down the stairs and greeting Grandma Lorraine? That was Michael J. Fox in drag. I knew that, but I found out this weekend that
shellic didn't. It was weird having to explain it to her ^_^
I really love the BttF movies. I had a parody-thing written for the first one back in the day, but it was on my home computer that got eaten by the terrible electric surge of whenever-the-heck-that-was *sad pandas* I remember some things, but I'm trying to recreate it in my spare (ha!) time. George still remains one of my favorite characters (how can you not love "My density has bought me to you" Pure gold!)
Aaaaand now I'm babbling about nothing, so I will close this up and live to babble another day. Happy President's Day!
Love from,
Jenny Wildcat
