Heading Back

I`m heading back to the desert. It`s amazing how the stress just leaves when I see Tooele County in my rearview. Whether I`m going west or south or east - just as long as I going elsewhere. It`s not my favorite place to be. I just come because of a few bright spots.

And I`ve lost a day on cracking the whip on those yearbook kids. But I don`t think they need me hounding them too much. Just enough to keep it moving and to keep them on the strait and narrow.

This is What You Got Your Merit Badge in Kayaking For!

I'm on the shiiiiiiny computer in Delta today ("Star Trek" ain't got nothin' on this bad boy).  And through the combine efforts of DVR and Hulu, I was able to catch both "24" and "The Big Bang Theory" a day late, but never a dollar short.

Spoilers, yes.  Laughs aplenty, even more yes (and heaven knows I need them):

A Call For Help

About 3-4 years ago, ABC Family had an original movie about a girl who is so sick of dating and men in general that she creates this perfectly amazing "imaginary" boyfriend for herself in order to (seemingly) free herself from the obligation of dating in real life. She just tells people she has a boyfriend, but makes up excuses why he`s not around. Then she meets a real-life Mr. Wonderful, which throws a wrench into her strict "No dating in real life" policy. (you see why this would only work in a movie)

The movie itself is cheesy beyond all reason, but the premise is stuck in my head. The problem is that I can`t remember anything else about it. Do any of you know what movie I`m talking about? Let me know if you come up with anything.
