It's a Cherry Tootsie Pop!
Feb. 24th, 2007 01:32 pmOkay, so I was sick of that bitchy rant that I had on here (and it was on here all of, what, one day?), so I consulted the wide world of the Internet -- really, it was just theOtaku.com's Friday Otaku Attraction -- and was blessed with this little jewel from theOtaku.com's Friday Otaku Attraction (which, in turn was taken from YouTube - I've grown quite fond of ol' YT):
Despite all the crap that's happened lately, I'm in a particularly good mood today. I went to the Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand concert last night, which if you've never seen them live, you are missing out. They play bluegrass instruments (like that guitar, banjo, mandolin, etc.), but they can rock out with those instruments. So, if you like country and bluegrass or rock and roll, they are a definite crowd pleaser. Not many bands can get away with moonwalking with a banjo ^_^
Plus, I got a really endearing phone call today. My family was on their way back home from the Boys' Basketball tournament in St. George (Delta lost, but I promised I wasn't going to rant today. If you're really curious about my reaction, just read yesterday's entry and replace "BYU" with "St. George high schools"). While they were there for a few days, my sister,
adjie1026 found that there was no Barnes and Noble in St. George (not even Borders - jerks). My dad told me that her big idea was for me and her to move to St. George and open one together. I love it when I get calls like that. I got the warm fuzzies ^_^
Oh, and
ginyoku sent me a comment today. That made me feel good. And I found a cherry Tootsie Pop in my desk drawer. Life doesn't suck so bad!
Love from (and to everyone today),
Jenny Wildcat
