Mostly because I hav a MySpace blog now and it's kinda fun.  I don't know what will happen to this one, though.  I like it because it has certain features that MySpace isn't intelligent enough (or too intelligent, maybe) to have right now.  It won't let me put in my own music and crap because you have to search for what you're listening to and if it's not in their search, you're hosed.  It's about like Microsoft Word that corrects all your little "mistakes" because it thinks too much.  I'm all for common sense and things, but that's going a bit far...

Three more classes and four hours of work until Spring Break!  Woot and stuff!  I can't tell you how exciting I am to make my way to the desert and see all the goofy goofs that I've missed since Christmas (I mean that in a good way).  My dad called me yesterday and we played a rousing game of Phone Tag until I finally got hold of him.  When I did, he was going out of range (dagnabbit), but I've really missed him.  And Mark sent me this wickedly awesome comment... well, here it is:

hellooooooo how art thine? thou must soon traveleth unto the land of callao near the valley of snake by the creek trout. and it shall come to pass that we shall taketh part in the breaking of young colts and it shall be well with us. amen

I got that on Tuesday and I wanted to go home right then.  I was even tempted to skip out on seeing AshLee and going to Natalie's farewell and go straight home right when my day ended at 10:00 pm on Thursday.

Then it stormed and I decided to wait until Friday afternoon.  Besides, I won't be able to get my paycheck until Friday at 3:00 anyway.  Stupid corporate dipwads who won't send the checks on Thursday anymore...

I'm going to start the English Teaching emphasis and program this summer.  I have finally realized that I need to have something definite in my life and I can keep writing on the side.  Teachers don't make that much money, but I figure it's enough for just one person to live off of and that's all I would ever need.  Besides, I've always liked the image of the spinster schoolmarm in the middle-of-nowhere school house that the whole community helps take care of because she beings culture and education to their children.  My goal is to teach in rural areas because it's those places that really need the help with getting good teachers and things.  Big areas, like Salt Lake and everywhere up and down the Wasatch Front, get whatever they want because whiny rich parents want the best for their spoiled-brat kids.  They get the car dealerships to fork over cars to the kids who get the best grades and stuff like that.  What do us little school districts in central and southern Utah get?  Oh yeah, we don't exist!!  So, the best thing I can do for the farm kids that want a decent education is give it to them.  I've become rather disillusioned with the big city and it's inhabitants.  Not to say that some of them aren't nice and friendly; I just don't want to deal with them on a regular basis.  With my personality and their... personalities... it could get ugly.

Well, that's enough for today.  Catch ya later!

Love from,
Jenny Wildcat

PS, that's something else I'm not willing to give up for MySpace: my pseudonym ^_^
