Sweet Mother Freedom!
Nov. 21st, 2006 09:26 pmSeven-and-a-half hours. three traffic jams and two incessantly mewling cats later, I am home sweet homin' it. Granted, I had to help my little sister with her homework (that she staunchly refuses to do) and unpack my entire life that I always insist on bringing with me when I go anywhere.
I must ask a relevant question: why do the road construction crews find the need to do road work the week of Thanksgiving? They know the roads are crowded. Why do they even have to be during the busy times? One sign I passed today said "Road Work from Noon-5 am." How much intelligence does it take to work for the state road department? Probably about as much as it takes to work at the Delinquent-Home-Reject McDonald's that I stopped at today.
In other news, MuggleNet has pissed me off for the last time. They've just gone downhill for the past six weeks and this week was just annoying. I'm just sick of them not getting their facts right, lack of professionalism, their complete inability to stick by what they say and, most of all, their incessant blabbering on about absolutely nothing. If I want the teenage drama angst podcast, I'll subscribe to it, thanks. But now, as far as Harry Potter podcasts, my listenership and my Podcast Alley vote belongs solely to PotterCast. Leaky is so much more professional and comprehensive anyway. I don't need another lame Flash game or the stupid Caption Contest. Unsubscribing to MuggleCast definitely frees up some room on my hard drive, that's for sure.
Anyway, those are my thoughts as I sit here and watch Cars with my little sister. See you on Monday!
Love from,
Jenny Wildcat
