Wormtail's Lullaby

(to the tune of “Rock-a-bye Baby”)

This was spawned by a discussion on PotterCast of whether or not alienblob!Voldemort had any blood in him.  I thought of the potion that Wormtail concocted from unicorn’s blood and snake venom and from there, I thought about how blood in people is renewed from what we eat and drink.  Then, I thought of the line in Goblet of Fire where Voldemort says something about Wormtail nursing him with this potion and the image of Wormtail nursing the baby-sized Voldemort with a baby bottle and it was too funny.  The first verse of this lullaby came to me:

Wormtail:

Rock-a-bye Voldy, in the graveyard

You may a blob, but you’re still the Dark Lord

After task three, that Potter will fall

And up will rise Voldy, horcri and all

Then, I thought “Well, I can’t end on that note because Slytherins always get all the attention and have all the fun,” so I had to write a second verse for the Order of the Phoenix that sings the praises of the Gryffindors and slams Snape for being a traitorous… yeah, that.

The Order:

When Voldy arose, young Harry escaped

And the Dark Side was soon joined by Severus Snape

That traitor killed Albus, but we are all sure

The ones who will win are the heirs of Gryffindor!

I should be doing my homework, but how can I pay attention when Lexicon Steve Vander Ark joined the PotterCasters for Canon Conundrums?
