For those of you wondering, the first few lyrics go "I'm all alone, there's no one here besiiiiide me..." From the first Shrek movie, compliments of Donkey.

So, yeah, the last Utah State home game is tonight against Fresno State and I's probably going all by my lonesome since little miss [profile] shellic has her senior project to work on.  I guess I can handle going by myself, but it's so much more fun to know that someone is going to be high-fiving you when the team wins.  There is no way in anywhere bad that you can think of that I'm missing the last USU home game before my high-and-mighty graduation.  No freaking way.

In other news, I finished watching all the episodes of InuYasha yesterday and all I have to say is DOUBLE-YOU-TEE-EFF?!!!  It just sort of... ended... Nothing was resolved! (but InuYasha and Kagome made me all cuddly and snuggly... wish I had a boyfriend...)  Naraku is still out causing havoc and mayhem, Kikyo is still... Kikyo, Kohaku is still pretending to be Naraku's lackey and making Sango all angsty about it and we didn't see Koga for at least twenty episodes!  I realize the manga is still going, but why do they have to stop the anime?  It felt like the creators just got sick of doing it, even though Rumiko Takahashi (the original creator of the InuYasha manga) still seems to be going strong (494 chapters and counting... I'd have to say so!)  I dunno, I just want to know what happens.  The anime didn't give me much closure (though, in my path to finishing the series, I saw the episode where this girl told the catfish demon that she had already given herself to Miroku and Sango got jealous and upset, but Miroku ended up saving Sango in quite the heroic fashion -- all I have to say is that if the InuYasha/Kagome pair doesn't work out, at least we have Miroku/Sango as a consolation prize.  Talk about getting me all snuggly and cuddly  ^_^)

Thus, I was put on a quest to find the manga online in a way that I could afford it (read: doesn't cost anything).  I found one website and started reading (all it has is the speech bubbles, sound effects and scene descriptions -- no art, but I have a pretty good imagination) and was pleasantly surprised to find that the anime follows the manga fairly well.  I'm kinda hoping the anime will start up again someday, but I'm not holding my breath.  Oh well, it's not like I can't go back and watch the whole thing again.  167 episodes has a tendency to keep me occupied.  Then, there's the massive online fandom.  I'm not one to get into that kind of stuff extensively, but I like looking up info on the characters, just for kicks.  We all have our hobbies ^_^

Today brought a happy surprise: my aunt and uncle were in the neighborhood and called me up to take me out for ice cream.  I wasn't expecting them to show up and it sounds like they really weren't planning on it, but they had to come up to Ogden to give my cousin her wedding present, so they figured they'd travel the extra 45 minutes to Logan to go to the cheese factory and load up on Aggie ice cream and come visit me while they were at it.  I was very touched...
