I wanted to be through with Series 4 before the end of the 4th of July weekend and I just barely made it.  I started the first part of "The End of Time," but I didn't quite finish it before we were set to go to this 4th of July program in one of the little towns just south of us.  I have to say, for being one of the little communities out here in the sticks, they had a killer fireworks display.  But we didn't get back until pretty late (like 11:30).  Still, I wanted to at least finish part 1 - and of course, that necessitated me staying up even later to finish part 2.  Thoughts and spoilers under the cut -

I'm still resuscitating the Lappy from her near-crash experience over the weekend.  I just want to say that reinstalling everything is turning out to be quite the pain-in-the-butt.  And I can't get anything productive done (like, oh say, schoolwork) until I have all the Microsoft compatibility thingies installed.  And of course, Microsoft has to bury the Download button in the most random places so you have no clue where it is.  Sort of like when the Doctor, Martha and Captain Jack all wore TARDIS keys to keep the Master's lackeys from finding them - your eyes just float over them and you completely miss it.  Oy... for the millionth time - I will be so happy when I can get a new Lappy

In the meantime, I was feeling so depressed about Ten's exit that I decided I should move on with life and get to know Eleven.  I thought about getting an Eleven-only icon - but I'm not ready to move completely on just yet (and I only have room for 15 icons - I would like some space for non-Who related stuff.  One day I may spring for more, but not today).
