Watching Sunday Night Football tonight (Chicago vs. Dallas, for those that care) and they have the usual pre-game intro goodness to get everyone psyched up for the game.  Who should they have enlisted to assist in the festivites, but Masi Oka aka Hiro Nakamura of "Heroes?"  The scene goes something like this:

Title: Sunday Night Heroes. The Dallas Cowboys are playing the New Orleans Saints.  Tony Romo sets up to throw to Terrel Owens for a touchdown, except it looks like a Saints defender will intercept the ball.  All of a sudden, everything freezes up.  Then, here come Hiro alllll nice and sneaky the way only Hiro can be nice and sneaky.  He takes the ball from the New Orleans player and puts it in Owens' hands.  Then, Hiro sneaks off the the sidelines and starts time back up again.  Owens catches the ball and gets a touchdown and decides to ask Hiro how Hiro would celebrate a touchdown.  Hiro says that he would celebrate with an inner peace or something to that effect.  Now, Terrel Owens is known for his obnoxious touchdown celebrations, so he replied that the "inner peace" thing wouldn't work for him.

The only thing that would have been funnier would be if Hiro adjusted one of Rex Grossman's errant passes 'cause Grossman has some problems being a good quarterback.  And I'm not terribly fond of Dallas.  Eh, whatever.

Anyway, I thought it was funny.  But now Dallas is leading 17 to 10 and it's less funny (C'mon Bears - pull it together!).  But tomorrow is the Heroes season premiere.  And Thursday is CSI.  At least I have something to look forward to.
