Everything Stressful Must Come At Once
Mar. 19th, 2007 01:43 pmFirst day of classes after Spring Break and what do I realize? That I have signed up for pretty much everything to come due this week. I have one of three (THREE!) monster presentations in my Senior Capstone class today (if I miss just one, I fail the class... oy vay). Tomorrow, I have to e-mail a poem to my poetry class so it can be workshopped on Thursday (last time I was workshopped, I was told in no uncertain terms that my poetry was basically crap). Wednesday, I have to have a rough draft of my personal essay for creative non-fiction (I have a pretty good idea what I'm doing for this, so it's not as big of a stress). In two weeks, I have to have a short story written for my fiction class and I have a grand total of zero usable ideas (plenty of fantasy fairy tale-stuff I could write, but nothing literary)
On top of all this, the toilet chose today to flood so I had to get that taken care of. I have to look professional for my presentation today and I ended up spilling water on my skirt on the way up to campus. And my iPod decided to not update with the latest PotterCast, so I have to find a minute to figure out what's wrong with it (and Apple wonders why people hate them).
I don't know what's worse: the fact that I have to wait six weeks before summer vacation or the fact that I only have six weeks before I have to find a job and be an adult.
More later, but this was just a quick rant.
Love from,
