There is much "blargh"-ness going around. First off, my article
from last week didn't get published, which was disappointing even
though I wasn't expecting much. Second I had to write another
article for next week and it was complete and utter crap. The
only idea I had was the humorous idea that I celebrate the day after
Valentine's Day because all the candy is half price. Try milking
750 words out of something like that and sound even remotely
intelligent. In my defense, I used up all my passion on the
Statesman-letter writing goonies, so there wasn't much left for
anything else. Writing columns is fun, but only when there's
something you reeeeeally want to write about. Third, the wireless
in this apartment complex is being a whore and I can't do much on the
internet which sucks because I finally got a MySpace account and I
can't play with it!!!! There is much hate, Master Yoda.
Okay, you know you're pathetic when you have a full day of no school and no work and you spend it playing Snood. Alone. In the living room. Watching the weed-smoking "Imagine" and Susan Sarandon Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Warm fuzzies and hypocrisy for all! "Duuude, man, pass dat ovah". I can't wait until we finally get to the Real Reason for the Olympics: watching all the athletes kick one another's trash, but shaking hands after the medals are awarded and the anthems are playing. How much more symbolic and poignant can you get? These activist nut-jobs can learn a lot from athletes. Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
