Picture Update

Remember how I met Sarah Palin a few weeks back? Remember how I promised pictures? Well, it's time to make good on that promise (two weeks late... oh well, call it my second Christmas present)

I know I'm in the right place when I see the KNRS van (the ONLY talk radio station in Utah as far as I'm concerned. They let the inmates run the asylum over at KSL - can't stand those sellouts).

The line in front of me...

... and behind me. Before all was said and done, the line went back to the checkouts and the bathrooms. It was intense.

Of course the local libtard media showed up to party poop and take our quotes out of context (as happened to me - oh well, I was on TV).

My friend Kathryn being interviewed by Rod Decker.
Kathryn: "Get away from me you liberal s.o.b. ^_^

Some of the people in line socialize with the friendly Secret Service guys. These guys were sooo much more personable than the Costco employees.

We made some great friends in line!

You must visit www.tpartyt.com! These guys were so much fun and they gave out free t-shirts (much to the chagrin of Costco - ha ha) This shirt says "I am the battlefield of ideas.

"The Refounding Fathers" - FTW! ^_^

Me with Sarah Palin's mom, Sally Heath (Mrs. Heath is in the blue vest, I'm in red, the lady on the end was someone I stood in line with and I'm not sure who the other blonde is)

OH MY GOSH - IT'S SARAH PALIN!!!
(I did get closer than this, but they were anal about us having cameras up close. I'm still waiting for the official event photographer to get Salt Lake up on her website. But I know how to be patient. You have NO idea how many bad and blurry pics I took to get one this good)

Of course, Todd was there. Trig was there too, but he left early. His baby-sitter took him out while we were waiting in line, so we got to see him briefly (he is sooo stinking cute!!)

The whole set-up (next to the paper towel aisle - just keeping it real)

And a boatload of books!
