And... Keep Breathing... That's the Key...
Doctor Who, season 3, episode 7 - "42" - I need a "squee/I-can't-handle-this-right-now" post.
Seriously - I can appreciate the hat-tip to "24" in this episode (a typical Doctor Who episode lasts 42 minutes, so this is called "42" and done nearly in real time - I figured it out about a third of the way through when I was trying to figure out the title and it dawned on me). But good grief, I wasn't expecting to leave my tonsils behind!!
Or that my jaw would drop with 10 minutes left when the Doctor absorbed that bit of the "living sun" and was screaming like crazy. Or that my jaw would stay dropped for those 10 minutes (when the Doctor says that he's scared, it's time to start running. Which pretty much everyone did in this episode. I wonder if anyone had shoes left on their feet).
Talk about your crossover episode! I was almost expecting Jack Bauer to show up when the Doctor was incapacitated. What he would do, I don't know, but he'd think of something intelligent.
