Everything I Need to Know...
Aug. 15th, 2006 01:52 pmApartment check outs are this Saturday and the new arrivals are coming next Friday and Saturday. I'm not moving out, but I do have to clean part of the kitchen and my bathroom. I don't mind doing it, simply because I know what it's like to move into an apartment that's been lived in all summer and feel like I'm moving into a nest of meningitis disease. However, when that happened, neither my mother nor myself had the presence of mind to complain (well, at the time; looking back, we probably should have).
You know what this means? This means that I will have a perky freshman roommate from South Jordan with a mother from Hell who freaks out over every little speck of dirt. No matter how much I watch my step between the time the old roommates leave and the new ones move in, there will be some irate parent who thinks that I'm a slob from the planet Dump and let the managers know that I should forfeit every last penny of my security deposit (which I'll never see anyway, so what does it matter?) So, in the interest of being a cheeky snot, I present:
Yeah, I feel better now. Bring on the newmeat roommates! (I'm hungry)
Love from,
Jenny Wildcat
PS, That was bizarrely coincidental. I just turned on iTunes and "Alone" by Heart played on the shuffle. I've had that song in my head all day. I'm officially freaked (but in a good way ^_^)
